Long time no seen
Monday, November 14th, 2005It’s been a while since the last update, and a a few things to go through, so let’s get started.
First of all, I just finished the new FISD website, also based on WordPress technology, go check it out. The general theme is the same as before, but the style is more modern. Thanks to WordPress the site is a lot easier to maintain now, so we might see more frequent updates.
All runways at EFHK are in use since the beginning of November, so all WIP updates should be removed. Just delete the wip_aita.bgl from your EFHK\scenery folder. The scenery is still missing night and winter textures, let’s hope we manage to finish them before snowfall. However, it’s still grey and rainy here IRL, so the current version is just realistic. :)
Finally, during the Finnish Virtual Aviators Association flightsim meeting in Oulu I managed to get some nice material from Ahmosuo airfield, thanks to Olli Vainio. As if not enough work in the current projects, I’ve modelled some buildings there. AFCAD file and a couple of objects available in the zip file.
